Friends of Cancer Council WA is a volunteer group which raises money for Cancer Council WA to support the funding of world class cancer research taking place in Western Australia. They hold several functions throughout the year which appeal to a range of interests and age groups.
Friends of Cancer Council WA support a number of research projects each year from amongst the world-class research projects nominated by the Cancer Council of WA, including past Cancer Council WA Cancer Researchers of the Year and Vacation Scholarship Awards.
Friends of Cancer Council WA hold their meetings on the second Thursday of the month at 10.00am. New volunteers are always welcome. Please contact the President of FCCWA at friendsofcancercouncil@gmail.com for further information.
